In May 2022, Association of Energy Engineers rewared PhD Eng. Corneliu Rotaru with the distinction of Eastern & Central Europe Region Energy Engineer of the Year.
AEE is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving energy industry professionals who are working to improve energy efficiency, to save energy, reduce GHGs, increase buildings performance, and help reach global goals for Net-Zero.
AEE gives special recognition to professionals and companies who have demonstrated notable contributions to the profession and their area of expertise. This recognition is awarded on the local, regional, and international levels.
Mr. Rotaru has over 40 years of activity in the field of energy efficiency both locally and in Europe, being successively the leader of several institutions in Romania, lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and postgraduate specialization courses, co-author of an impressive number of articles and publications on energy efficiency policies, technologies and solutions.
Since 2021, Mr. Rotaru joined the team of the Romanian Energy Efficiency Fund as Fund Administrator, enhancing through his expertise, knowledge and hard work our achievements in the past year.
